He Leaves You Cold (Acoustic Live from Unityville, PA)

November 9, 2018

CALIFORNIA – thank you so much for two fantastic shows at the The Fillmore and The Belasco theatre – the perfect way to end what has been a phenomenal few weeks here in NORTH AMERICA . We truly have had an incredible time and I feel beyond lucky to have such an amazing group of people supporting me and my music over here . I’m sure it won’t be long till we’re back this way again

We’re off to NEW ZEALAND now where I’m delighted to say that my good friend Luke Thompson will be supporting the show at the Powerstation in AUCKLAND and the mighty Winterbourne will be opening for me across AUSTRALIA !

All shows are now sold out other than the 3 Oceans Wine Company – Margaret River and a handful of tickets left for Enmore Theatre in SYDNEY . You can grab them from https://passengermusic.com/live if you so desire

For now here is the live acoustic version of “he leaves you cold” . this was a pretty crazy one ….. we found ourselves well and truly off the beaten track as we were driving through rural Pennsylvania and stumbled upon an old abandoned house which seemed to be defying the laws of gravity by standing upright ….. a combination of it being absolutely freezing and us all feeling fairly certain that some shot gun touting mad man could pounce at any minute , meant that this was possibly the quickest video that we made…. I think its got a nice charm to it though and I hope y’all like it !!

Lots of love to you all .

Eagle Bear Buffalo (Acoustic Live from Canaan Mountain Wilderness Area, Utah)

October 20, 2018

Hey everyone !!

Sorry this is a little late …. We’ve been running around like maniacs here in the states ….

Massive thanks to everyone who came out to WASHINGTON , BROOKLYN and BOSTON – three very different shows and all excellent  onwards to CANADA …..

In the meantime here is the live acoustic version of “eagle bear buffalo” .

One of the highlights of our road trip was staying in traditional Native American accommodation in Utah . It was beautiful to be out in such wide open space for a night and we felt it was the perfect setting for this song .

Thanks in advance for watching and have a lovely weekend wherever you may be xx

Survivors (Acoustic Live from Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park)

September 6, 2018

Hey guys ,

Thought we’d chuck this one at you a day early …. Its the acoustic version of “survivors” filmed amongst the majestic redwoods of Northern California .

This was one of my favourite moments of the road trip . We got up super early ( which is why I look a bit knackered ….) and when we arrived at this sensational location we had the whole place to ourselves .

The sun was rising and shining down through these gigantic and magnificent trees and there was an amazing stillness and calm about the place (apart from the incredibly loud woodpecker that wouldn’t be quiet during recording …. So inconsiderate )

It was a morning that I will never forget and I feel privileged to have been able to play one of my songs in such a magical place .

As always , a huge thank you to Jarrad Seng Photography, Chris Vallejo and Stu Larsen for making this project possible .

Please share it around if you like it .

Thank you .

Mike xx

To Be Free (Acoustic Live)

August 17, 2018

Hey guys !

Hope you’re all doing really well !

Can’t believe its only two weeks till my new album comes out !!! Starting to feel pretty nervous / excited about it ….

In the meantime , here is the acoustic version of “to be free” ….

We filmed it outside an old farm in Wyoming as the sun was going down … a pretty lovely spot and a perfect setting to sing this song .

As always do feel free to pass it around 😉

Loads of love .

Runaway (Acoustic Live)

July 6, 2018

Happy Friday everyone !! Hope you’ve all had a beautiful week 🙂

Here is a new live and acoustic video of “runaway” .

We filmed it in the most amazing spot in Joshua tree national park in California ….. what a place !!

Please forgive the very questionable decision making behind the choice of shirt …..I think I got a bit carried away with the “desert theme” …. I’m sure I had a similar pair of pyjamas when I was about 8yrs old 🙂

Massive thanks as always to Jarrad Seng Photography , Stu Larsen and chris Vallejo for doing such a great job !

Hope you guys like it and as always let us know what you think !

Thanks for watching .

Mike x

Ps If you’re enjoying these stripped back versions then remember they all come as part of the deluxe package of the album … just saying 😉
